Service Description

INTRO TO CPE SPEEDWAY! Speedway is a new dog sport which ONLY utilizes obstacles on a flat surface! This means it's great for dogs who are young, old, or needing accommodations to avoid jumping/incline running! This intro class will cover information needed to participate in most CPE Speedway games: Pitstop, Slingshot, Pole Position, and Hairpin! Skills needed to play speedway are very similar to those needed in agility, flyball, rally, and other sports! There are speed components, distance components, directional cues, and object discrimination needed to play these games successfully! No experience is necessary to join this class! This is a wonderful introductory sport for both handlers and dogs! However, you have an advantage if your dog is familiar with going through tunnels! This class costs $299, and is hosted in Jacksonville at the outdoor, fenced in Pals and Paws Agility Club Field: 6932 Morse Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32244. In order to participate at the field, there is a $25 provisional membership/insurance fee to Pals and Paws (the agility club where the classes are held)!
